Thom Danckaert - Steelcase Worklab

Please join us for lunch on Friday, February 18th for a glimpse into the work of local Design Architect Thom Danckaert. Thom will be presenting his work on the Steelcase Worklab project that won an AIA Grand Valley Sustainable Design Award in 2010.
Thom is a registered architect and designer with Progressive AE who loves the experience of design and has a fairly diverse resume of projects from workplace to healthcare. Thom believes in developing robust relationships, energetic collaboration, and thoughtful detailing. He also participates in installations with other local designers and enjoys personal photography as extensions of his design methodology. He is a LEED accredited professional who also teaches 3D Design/ Model Building at Kendall College of Art and Design. Thom earned a bachelor’s of science in architecture from Lawrence Technological University and a master’s of architecture with high distinction from the University of Michigan.
Lunch will be provided. This designTHUNK event will be held from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at FSU/GRCC Applied Technology Center, 151 Fountain Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49503..
